Welcome

In this guide, we’ll provide you with all the information you need for your stay with us, from getting the most from your time in Samos, all the way through to your checkout.

Samos is a Greek island in the eastern Aegean Sea, south of Chios, north of Patmos and the Dodecanese, and off the coast of western Turkey, from which it is separated by the 1.6-kilometre (1.0 mi)-wide Mycale Strait. It is also a separate regional unit of the North Aegean region.

You can find a tag with the qrcode for your wifi connection. This wifi connection can be used in all areas of the hotel.

Breakfast is served buffet style from 7:00 a.m to 10:30 a.m. in the area behind the reception.

Breakfast can be served in your room with an extra charge of 13€/person

Early breakfast can be arranged by the reception with extra charge.

Pool Bar: from 10.00am to 6:00p.m.

Main pool: Open hours 10:00a.m to 6:00p.m.

Kids pool: for kids under 12 years old and only with parents supervise

Room service is available from 7:30a.m to 11:30p.m.

The aircon can be controlled using the remote that’s on the wall.

We always maintain the temperature at around 19C – 21C, and it shouldn’t be necessary to adjust it beyond that range. 

Please ensure all doors and windows are closed whilst it is running otherwise it will not operate efficiently.

Use of the Safety box is free of charge, you will have to ask for the key from the reception and leave it back on your departure.

Computer and office machine is available in the reception area with extra charge.

Iron and ironing board are available to use free of charge, you will have to pick them up from the reception.

Wake up call by the reception, free of charge.

All public areas are cleaned daily.

Rooms are cleaned daily.

Sheets are changed every 2 days. 

Towels are changed every day.

 

Luggage store is available in the reception area, free of charge.

Quiet time

We are located in a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it’s home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence!

Specifically, between the hours of 11pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.

We will be happy to host your little friends as well.

This is a non-smoking property. Please do not smoke inside the room. Feel free to smoke on the balcony but remember to keep the area clean and free from cigarette butts!

Power outages

Power outages do happen in this part of the world – the hotel has it’s own power generator supply. So don’t worry about this.

You will find the fire extinguisher in the hallway.

Please familiarize yourself with the instructions so that, if you need to use it, you can do so instantly. There is a label next to the extinguisher which clearly explains the (simple) operation.

Samos is an island of great natural beauty with hidden greenery treasures, historical sites, monasteries, and museums that are all worth visiting. 

KOKKARI

Kokkari beach is covered with both white pebbles and sand that reach the shore. It is organized with beach bars and restaurants in most of its part. The area is ideal for windsurfing, offering the perfect wind conditions for this kind of water sport.

LEMONAKIA

Lemonakia is the first beach located next to Kokkari village with unique turquoise crystal-clear waters. You can enjoy traditional Samian food at local restaurants above the bay with wonderful view of pine trees emerging from the rocks.

TSAMADOU

Tsamadou beach is one of the most famous attractions of Samos. While walking down one of the paths to this exotic place, you will certainly take many photos to remind you of this endless blue-green landscape.

TSABOU

Tsabou beach is located after Avlakia and before Agios Konstantinos village. The beach has large pebbles on the shore and the water is very clean with deep seabed. The bay is open and sometimes in summer it is affected by strong winds.

POTAMI

Potami is a large pebbled magnificent beach, located 2 km west of Karlovasi town. The region is surrounded by steep cliffs covered with lush vegetation and tall pine trees offering a wonderful landscape. While visiting the beach don’t miss to visit the church of St. Nicholas with its unique architecture and panoramic view of the sea. The sunset from that area is definitely worth to see.

MIKRO SEITANI

Mikro Seitani is a small beach with amazing natural beauty. To get access to this beach, you must walk the trail that begins after Potami beach west of Karlovasi town.

MEGALO SEITANI

After Mikro Seitani, you will reach Megalo Seitani, a wonderful virgin beach with turquoise crystal-clear waters and white sand. It is integrated into the protection network Natura 2000 as it hosts the Mediterranean monk seal “Monachus-Monachus”. You can also have access to the beach by private yacht and enjoy the natural beauty of the area from the sea.

PYTHAGORIO

Pythagorion is a lovely cosmopolitan coastal town situated at the southern coast of the eastern part of the island, some 12 kilometers southern to the town of Samos.
The town has been named after Pythagoras, the great ancient philosopher and mathematician. The actual town, extended around the port, has been built on the ruins of the ancient city of Samos.

KOKKARI

Kokkari village was a fishing harbour of Samos island, which has developed over the years into a tourist center with restaurants, café, bars, and shops. Still, it preserves its old traditional face with small houses, picturesque alleys, and flower beds full of blossoms.

VOURLIOTES

Vourliotes village is located on the northern hills of Karvounis (or Ampelos) mountain surrounded by lush vegetation with pine trees and vineyards. Its traditional houses, churches and neighborhoods show the village’s aristocratic touch. Walk through the stone alleys and enjoy traditional Samian food at local restaurants around the main square of the village.

MANOLATES

Manolates is one of the most cosmopolitan villages of Samos island. The wider region is also ideal for hiking on beautiful paths through lush vegetation. This traditional village consists of narrow alleys, stone-built houses and small squares surrounded by traditional taverns, small café, and handicraft shops.

AGIOS KONSTANTINOS

Agios Konstantinos is a coastal village located between the island’s two major towns Karlovasi and Vathy. Stretched behind a narrow pebble beach and a protective stone wall, Agios Konstantinos faces the waters of the Aegean sea. It is recommended to have a stop in the cool area of Platanakia, east of the village at the beginning of the road to Manolates, below the rich shade of plane trees next to the river’s waters.

AMPELOS

Ampelos village gives the impression of a balcony over the Aegean sea with amazing view from east to the west. Wander in the picturesque alleys of the village and taste the local wine made from high quality grapes. Almost an hour’s walk from the village you will also find beautiful waterfalls surrounded by lush vegetation.
